 June 3: Hello Summer!
Great Expectations
It's time to say good-bye
Our school year has come to an end.
We've made more cherished memories
and many more new friends.
We've watched our Dragons learn and grow
and change from day to day.
We hope that all the things we've taught
Have inspired them in exciting ways.
So it's with happy memories
We send them out the door,
With great hope and expectations
for what next year holds in store.
Wishing all of our Dragons a fun and restful summer. As you leave school to start your break, may your go with a song and a smile in your heart.
Congratulations and best wishes to all of our 2016 graduates. Go forth and shine!
Be sure to check out our St M Facebook page for photos, videos and memories from closing exercises and graduation.

Summer Assignments and Back To School
Whether you call it the Summer Slide or the Brain Drain, students can lose ground in reading and math over the summer break.
To help our students practice what they learned this year and exercise their brains while they are away, HERE is the link to summer assignments by grade, as well as recommended reading lists. You can also find this information on our website under "Community/Summer-Back to School."
Once school is out, our team will be finalizing Back to School forms. Please check the website in mid-July for updates, forms and the 2016-2017 Academic Calendar.
If you have a child in grades 3-8 who plans to participate in intramural or collegiate sports in the coming school year, an athletic participation physical examination form will be needed. Click here for the form.
Lastly, thank you for encouraging your child(ren) to read this summer! Be sure to check out our eBooks collection. Click here for info on how to access our digital library!

Co-Curriculars at St M!
St. Michael’s believes that important learning also happens outside the classroom with purposeful exposure to a broad variety of activities and experiences. That is why we offer inclusive co-curricular and sports opportunities for our students at both campuses.
For planning purposes, here is a full year list by season of the co-curricular and sports opportunities that will be offered in the coming School year. You may also access this information on our website site under  Community/Co-Curricular/Sports Info.
It's a Wrap!
This will be our final newsletter of this school year. We will resume again in mid-August. Of course, any pertinent information that needs to be shared with our families will be emailed this summer.
Thank you for a wonderful year!  - The Communications Office
