Travel Oregon Program Selected as Adobe Award Finalist
This week, Travel Oregon’s VLM (Visitor Lifecycle Management) program was selected as one of three finalists for this year’s Adobe Experience Maker Awards in the Architect category. The Adobe Experience Maker Awards recognize leaders behind the most outstanding customer experiences. This is a global competition across many industries, so we are excited to learn of our selection as a finalist in the Architect category, which recognizes the company that has unified their content and marketing strategy to streamline the digital customer journey – delivering personalized, relevant content to the right audience at the right time to achieve measurable impact and lift business results. “VLM's recognition as a finalist for this award acknowledges that the program "is not only cutting-edge for the tourism sector, but also competes globally and across industries as a best-in-class visitor-experience program," says Bryan Mullaney, Insights & Planning Manager for Travel Oregon's Marketing team. Mullaney and Ariana Bray-Sweet, Marketing Automation Analyst, are the creators and drivers of the VLM program.
The other category finalists include:
- The National Football League
- HDFC Life – One of India’s largest insurance companies
Travel Oregon is honored to follow the footsteps of exemplary tourism organizations who have previously been selected as finalists: Visit Qatar and Visit South Australia.
Winners will be announced in New York City on June 21.
The VLM program was developed to build a deeper, more meaningful relationship with potential visitors to Oregon. The goal of this program is to guide travelers through each step of the travel decision-making process by providing users personalized content and recommendations. To accomplish this, we used marketing automation software to construct an email nurture stream, which is a series of trigger emails based on a subscriber’s location within the travel decision-making process.
