Robert Prucka has been appointed chair of the Department of Automotive Engineering. Prucka directed Clemson’s Deep Orange vehicle prototyping program and is a member of the Robert H. Brooks Sports Science Institute.

Statewide Spotlights

Clemson Extension will host a webinar on May 28 for organizations interested in participating in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census. This citizen science project brings communities together to support pollinator research and conservation.

Beginning Tuesday, June 2, CCIT will implement a DMARC (domain-based message authentication, reporting and conformance) protocol for Clemson email. Faculty and staff who send official University communications through a third-party system should initiate a CheckIT review to ensure there are no disruptions.

Clemson Libraries' Open Access Publishing Fund provides up to $1,500 towards the cost of Article Processing Charges in open access journals. Any student, faculty or staff member can apply for the funds.

Empower, the provider of South Carolina’s Deferred Compensation program, is hosting a webinar on Friday, May 29, at 3 p.m. The session will include an overview of plan options, enrollment steps and a live Q&A session. Registration is required.
