Hi Neighbor!
When last we met, I told you about some advice albums that I made as a gift for each of my children upon their high school graduations. I had written letters and emails to all sorts of folks that my kids admired—from family and friends to celebrities—to create a collection of wise words as they entered the next chapter of life. I, then, invited all of you to send in some of the best advice you’ve ever received. Thanks for sharing! Some of these wise words are featured here today.
This first one is a keeper! Very wise words from MLN subscriber, Steve McClatchy, who said the best advice he ever received was from his father:
“Money is not the root of all evil. It makes you more of who you already are. If you are a jerk, a lot of money will allow you to be a big jerk. If you are a great person, a lot of money will allow you to be really great.”
I can feel all the heads nodding. Hopefully we will all make an effort to strive to be the latter! As you continue to scroll down through the events today, other subscribers’ wisdom are highlighted and sprinkled throughout!
Enjoy!
Sandie
