There will be a transit van departing between 11:00-11:30 am, from the CPFM Admin Building 136 for those that would like a ride over to the Ford Alumni Center on 12/7. The van will take trips once full and return for another group.

George Weyrens Scholarship 2023-24 |
Created by the late George Weyrens, who worked as a night custodian at the University of Oregon from 1968 to 1987, the Weyrens Scholarship provides scholarships for full time Facilities Services employees within Campus Planning and Facilities Management (CPFM) or their family members, to further their education in whatever field of interest they would like to pursue at the University of Oregon.
The available amount for the 2023-24 school year is approximately $6000. The number of awards and individual scholarship amounts will be determined by the selection committee.
The application will be open until 11:59pm Wednesday, December 20th, 2023.

If you are a supervisor in the VPFA (Finance and Administration) portfolio—which includes CPFM—consider applying for the Jan-June 2024 LEADS training. The Leadership Excellence and Development Series (LEADS) is a monthly in-person training on topics such as employee engagement, change management, and process improvement. Information is available online and applications are due by December 11th.

Maintenance Support was able to complete a request with only a few days notice for 241 chairs and tables, to be set up for an outdoor event on campus. They were able to pull it of with little warning, which meant a great deal to those that organized this event for the Jewish Student Community.

December 1: Free First Friday at the Museum of Natural and Cultural History (MNCH). The museum offers free admission on the first Friday of the month; UO staff and students can always enter the museum for free with a UO ID.
