Spring 2026 Registration Open Now |
Registration for classes beginning Jan. 5, is now open via the Cav Center! Be sure to register BEFORE you leave for Christmas break to avoid any issues the first week of class. If you are not sure of the day and time that you are eligible to register, please view your Registration Time Ticket on your Student Profile Page.

Senior Honors Thesis Presentations, Today |
All are invited to support our Honors students as they present their senior thesis projects today, Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 4–5 p.m. in the Timken Natural Science Center, Room 108. Olivia Pita will showcase “Adventure Cats Spelunking: A Video Game,” a platforming adventure featuring feline heroes that combines her passion for storytelling, design, and game development. Alexis Perretta will present her research, “The Role of Oxidative Stress in the Pathophysiology of Preeclampsia in RUPP Rats,” which explores how oxidative stress contributes to this serious pregnancy disorder and the potential for new therapeutic interventions. Veterans Day Ceremony, Thursday, Nov. 13 |
Join us Thursday, Nov. 13 at 4 p.m. as we honor our nation’s veterans with a special Veterans Day Ceremony at the campus flagpole. Active-duty Marines will lead a formal flag retirement of the Walsh University flag, with participation from our own students. This meaningful event is an opportunity for our entire campus community to come together in respect and gratitude for those who have served. All are encouraged to attend.

Record-Breaking Cavaliers Take the Field for Season Finale! |
Cheer on the Walsh University football team as they close out their historic 2025 season—the most successful in the program’s NCAA era! With a 6-4 overall record, setting a new program high, the Cavaliers have impressed with a balanced offense led by standout running back Jake Gill and a string of strong conference wins. The team is poised to finish the season on a high note against the Northwood Timberwolves. Head to Larry Staudt Field on Saturday, Nov. 15, for Senior Day and a 12 p.m. kickoff. International Flag Ceremony, Nov. 20 |
Walsh University will celebrate its international students during the annual International Flag Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Toot Global Learning Center. This year, Walsh’s student body represents 36 countries, including the United States, with 123 international students. Hosted by the World Student Organization and the Office for Culture and Belonging, students will carry their national flags across the stage, followed by a group photo, with performances by the Walsh University Chorale and a traditional Nepali dance.
New this year: Faculty and staff are invited to contribute a dessert (at least 75 portions) inspired by one of the countries our students call home. The Office for Culture and Belonging will cover ingredients—just bring your receipt for reimbursement. Volunteer and bring Christmas cheer to the hearts of Cav Nation families! We are looking for 75 volunteers to help make our annual Breakfast with Santa event a success! Join us on Sunday, Dec. 7, as we welcome 250 alumni and their families to campus for Holy Mass, visits with Santa, a pancake breakfast, a live nativity, and more. 9/11 Survivor and Inspirational Author Genelle Guzman-McMillan Coming to Campus Dec. 2 |
There’s still time to register! Join Walsh University on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the Cecchini Center Auxiliary Gym for an unforgettable evening with Genelle Guzman-McMillan, the final survivor pulled from the World Trade Center rubble on September 11, 2001. After being trapped for 27 hours before her miraculous rescue, Genelle shares a powerful story of faith, resilience, and hope that continues to inspire audiences worldwide. A reception and book signing for her memoir, Angel in the Rubble, will follow the presentation.

ACES 2025: A Celebration of Student and Faculty Achievement, Dec. 4 |
This year’s ACES (Academic Celebration of Excellence Symposium) will take place on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Toot Global Learning Center. The Symposium highlights the scholarly achievements of both students and faculty across all areas of academics, including research, scholarship, class projects, and service-learning experiences.
