Move-in & Welcome Week are less than two weeks away! We can’t wait to have you back on campus as we kick off the fall semester.

New Student Move-In
Move-in days for Belmont are right around the corner! Students will move in by complex from August 17-21. Each complex is assigned a specific move-in day and move-in route. The complete move-in schedule and maps for each complex can be found on the official move-in website.

In an effort to move 4,300 students onto campus as efficiently as possible, students have also been assigned a specific move-in time. Your student’s move-in time was emailed to their Belmont email address on July 19, and move-in vehicle hangtags were mailed out on July 24. Welcome Week Events for Parents and Guests
Belmont’s Welcome Week experience is filled with unforgettable moments designed to jump start your student’s Belmont journey. Parents and guests are encouraged to attend:

Friday’s Dinner and Opening Session A: for students moving in on Thursday
Saturday’s Opening Dinner and Opening Session B: for students moving in on Friday or Saturday & commuter students
Sunday morning worship service and matriculation ceremony: for all students, parents & guests

All events will take place in the Curb Event Center. The Welcome Week student-only sessions start at 11:00am on Sunday, August 20. For more Welcome Week details, click here.

Save the Date: Parent & Family Weekend

Don’t forget to add Parent & Family Weekend to your fall calendar! Parent & Family Weekend takes place September 22-23 with events kicking off on Friday at noon and running through Saturday evening. Click here to view the Parent & Family Weekend schedule of events.

Registration opens on August 15.

Reminders from Student Financial Services

Here are a few reminders from the Student Financial Services team as you approach the fall semester:

Fall term payment is due on August 16. Please make sure that A) your student has accepted their financial aid package if applicable and B) all holds from current or previous terms have been cleared. Payment plans are still available—click here for more information.
Regularly check your account activity for updated charges such as book charges, meal plan updates and added Bruin Bucks. These can be added to your account even after you’ve paid your initial balance.
Students can add parents/guardians as an AUTHORIZED USER to give full access to their financial account activity. From here you can access tax forms, make direct payments and set up Parent PLUS loan eRefund accounts. (This does not give parents/guardians access to homework, grades, etc.)

Intercultural Competency Program

This fall, Belmont will be launching an Intercultural Competency Program to help our students thrive in a more diversified environment. We encourage all our students to complete all seven co-curricular workshops (all of which count toward Cultural Well Core credit) to complete this program. Upon completion, students will be awarded a certificate, Global Bruins t-shirt, pin to wear at graduation and free intercultural test to help them continue developing their skills.

Welcome to the BruinShop!

The BruinShop will offically be open for business on Monday, August 14. Shop in
store at the new location at 1905 15th Ave S. on the first floor of the new Jack. C Massey building or online at belmontbruinshop.com starting Monday.
