Hi All, It has been another busy week in Dodge County 4-H. Monday and Tuesday were filled with project meetings. We also held the 4-H Speaking Contest. What a fun night to learn new information and share the 4-H spirit with others. I had a couple of additional facts that were interesting to note: we ended up in our building year with 8 youth registered for the 4-H Speaking Contest. Two could not attend due to illness and of the 6 remaining, we had 4 boys. We also had four original speeches! This was amazing to me since previous years had been mostly interpretive reading.
As I mentioned last week, in this Friday Focus on 4-H, I am sharing the contents of the speech that Lindsay Propst shared with the County Board of Supervisors in January. Thanks Lindsay for sharing your 4-H story!
Just a reminder to clubs who have not attended the Annual Leader Training, the last opportunity is coming up on Monday. Scroll down to the registration info at the end of this Focus on 4-H!
Have a great last weekend in January!
