Applications to join our Spring 2025 OL Team are still open!

Join us for an opportunity to welcome new students to the Silver community, and sharpen your leadership skills. As an OL, you will help new students prepare for and adjust to life as a graduate student at NYU Silver.

Orientation Leader Training
Thursday, January 9 | 11 AM - 4 PM | 1 WSN, Parlor Room

Spring MSW New Student Orientation
Wednesday, January 15 | 8 AM - 5 PM | Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life

Role & Responsibilities

Create an energetic, welcoming, and safe environment for new MSW students at Silver
Act as a peer mentor to a group of new students (pod group) and provide them with guidance and resources throughout the semester
Lead small group discussions related to community engagement and belonging with new students during orientation and beyond

Meet and foster relationships with faculty, staff, and peers at Silver
