Endolumik Makes MassDevice's List of Biggest Catheter-based Innovations of the Year
Endolumik, maker of a new generation of surgical tools that use light and digital surgery techniques to enhance surgeon performance, was recently included on MassDevice's list of the Biggest Catheter-based innovations of the year. Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business alumnus Mara McFadden is the CEO.

CMU Startup, Hardly Launches AI Resume Builder
Hardly, a CMU startup that provides high-quality, career development tools and services to professionals, has recently launched its latest tool: an AI Resume Builder, which allows users to optimize resumes for ATS, match resumes to a specific job description and shorten resume content if needed. The co-founders of Hardly, which include Tepper School of Business alumna and CEO Allison Braund-Harris, are looking to talk to recruiters, career coaches and/or leaders in career development programs at non-profit organizations and universities.

CMU Venture Bridge Company, Fluid Reality, Puts Virtual Reality in the Palm of Your Hand
Carnegie Mellon University researchers Craig Schultz and Joe Mullenbach founded Oakland-based Fluid Reality and got their business head start in the CMU Swartz Center's Venture Bridge and Entrepreneur Fellowship Program. Their haptic sensors—much like the sensors on your smartphone or smartwatch— change to create sensations of touch, using liquid instead of mechanical devices to do their jobs.

CONNECTS Seminar Series Resumes In January 2024
The Swartz Center's CONNECTS Seminar Series will return starting on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. These seminars aim to enhance the experiential education of any individual interested in innovation and entrepreneurship. Tailored mainly for students to help take their ideas from conception to commercialization, the seminars run throughout the academic year. Teams looking for talent and talent looking for teams can CONNECT at these events.

| Calling ALL Current CMU Student Entrepreneurs!
Registration is open for the 2024 McGinnis Venture Competition, a platform exclusively for Carnegie Mellon University's community of student entrepreneurs. This competition brings together Carnegie Mellon's best and brightest student entrepreneurs to compete for $60K in investments. All participants receive crucial interaction with alumni entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, an opportunity to raise capital and valuable feedback about ventures.
The Round one submission deadline is January 16, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET.
