Thank you to the alumni who have reached out for our #DogDaysOfSummer. As we continue to receive photos, know that we have a few bandanas left and would welcome you to participate.
Do you have an adorable dog? Would you like to receive a free Duke Sanford pet bandana for them? We can help! Send us your information and we will send you a bandana. Send us back a photo of you with your dog wearing the bandana, tell us a little about what you are doing this summer and we will post the photos on our social media platforms.
What adventures are you and your dog embarking on this summer? Will you be traveling? Will you be hard at work? What public policy topics excite your furry friend? We want to hear from you!
You will have the opportunity to meet and engage on social media with other Sanford alumni as you share summer stories and your Duke Sanford pride. Also, there will be a prize for the most liked photo submission. Later in the summer, we will share the top three liked posts and have you vote on them.

Sanford Mentoring Program |
The Sanford Mentoring Program is recruiting alumni to participate in the 2023-2024 program cycle. The Sanford Mentoring Program provides MPP and MIDP students with the opportunity to develop a partnership with persons who have graduated from Sanford or with faculty and staff at Sanford. Students are paired with a mentor they can engage with about their master's program as well as careers in public policy and international development.
Mentors are responsible for meeting with their mentee at minimum three times throughout the program cycle (October 2023-April 2024). Alums do not have to be local to Durham to be eligible to apply. If you are interested in becoming a mentor to one of graduate and professional students, we invite you to fill out the application form today. Applications are due by September 8th.
