Emergency Closing Policy
Winter has arrived! This serves as an important reminder about the University’s Emergency Closing Policy. Please read the following information carefully and be safe on the roads this season! It is important to remember that the University only moves to remote operations or closes for extreme conditions and circumstances. Walsh University usually remains open when area high schools and elementary schools close, as our population is comprised of adults, with a substantial portion residing on campus. However, during extreme conditions due to severe weather, major utility failure or other reasons, the university may move to remote operations, or close all or parts of the campus. Every attempt will made to announce the decision by 5 a.m. for day classes and events and 3 p.m. for evening classes and events. Information will be provided through the WU Alert notification system and campus website.
