When Nikolas Berg (right) began his master’s degree in the Agricultural and Applied Economics Program, he wanted to refine his soft skills, such as reading and writing. More than anything, Berg wanted to overcome his lifelong fear of public speaking. Two years later, Berg is set to receive his master’s after teaching two undergraduate courses with 100 students each.

The downtown portion of the city of Clemson's sidewalk upgrade project should conclude today. The remaining work on Highway 123 will now take place overnight beginning at 8 p.m. and is scheduled for completion by Friday, August 15.
