Convention News & Notes

The 2026 National Convention promises to be a time of fellowship, renewal, and encouragement. We also encourage you to take advantage of opportunities to be educated and informed. Eighty-four convention seminars (schedule here) are available for pastors and laypeople to be equipped for ministry. The Convention Program and Digest of Reports are available online to prepare you for the week.

For those unable to join us in Kansas City, convention worship services and business reports will be streamed (in Spanish and English) on Facebook and at nafwb.org.

Pray for the upcoming convention (30-Day Prayer Calendar) and give: plan to bring an offering or give online to help fund this valuable ministry of our denomination.

Kids Choir Info

The Kids Choir at the National Convention is available to all kids ages 4-12. Rehearsals are Monday-Wednesday at 3:00 PM. The Kids Choir will sing with the adult and student choir as part of the Wednesday night service, and right before the CTS Awards Ceremony. Symposium Paper Deadline Extended

The 2025 Theological Symposium will convene October 6-7 on the campus of Randall University in Moore, Oklahoma. Paper proposals or abstracts must be submitted to Cory Thompson fwbtheology@gmail.com no later than Tuesday, July 1.

The theme for this year’s Symposium relates to the 90th Anniversary of the National Association of Free Will Baptists and the history of our theological tradition. Papers on other topics will also be considered.
