| | Rhythms for a New Season: A Message from Federation CEO Gil Preuss
This week, we find ourselves scrambling to adapt to new fall routines, which can feel deeply unsettling. Without the rhythms that normally allow us the space to pause and reflect on where we are going, it seems more important than ever that we find opportunities to create new rituals and connect to sources of meaning and comfort. Jewish life offers us a rhythm that we can rely on, even in unsettling times. I invite you to explore some of the many sources of wisdom in our own community through Wisdom and Reflections for a Very Different New Year. By nurturing and growing our sense of community, we can find new ways to mark the seasons together, with adapted rituals and the comfort of deep roots.

| Remembering Together: A Touchpoint to Yizkor
SVIVAH
What is the meaning of Yizkor in these times? Jewish teachings hold that when Yizkor is recited, the veil between the living and the dead is lifted; our loved ones are close and listening. Spend an evening with us as we widen the circle, remembering and engaging in what matters most, for both the living and the lost. We’ll use guided meditation, writing, and discussion to deepen the possibilities that Yizkor holds. Expect an experiential-rich evening together, and know that you will not need to share, unless you choose to do so.
