Faculty Spotlight - Shari Dunn
Meet Shari Dunn, Pamplin School of Business' new adjunct instructor who will be teaching BUS 515 Social Venture Management in Spring 2018.
Shari is the Executive Director for Dress for Success Foundation Oregon where she leads the mission to empower women to achieve economic independence. She is a former news anchor and attorney and has developed and directed national collaborations on advocacy and funding projects.
The Social Venture Management course will address public relations, promotion, revenue generation, strategic planning, governance, financial controls and more. Register now to reserve your spot!

Congrats to our new FEI Interns
We are excited to launch the FEI Intern program with the local Portland Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) and happy to announce our inaugural 2017-18 class: Katelyn Sundin, Adriana Cantu, Kathryn Wolf, Michael Walsh and Hunter Jacobsen. Congratulations!
We are only the second university in the nation to roll out this pilot program, along with University of Tennessee and the Knoxville FEI Chapter. We trust our interns will find this program to be a valuable experience as they navigate through their future careers. 

Diversity Higher Ed Expo
NBMBAA® and Prospanica® are hosting this inaugural Higher Education Expo on September 27 that will bring together colleges, universities and post-secondary organizations from across the country to create a special college fair environment where students from diverse backgrounds will have access to valuable resources to prepare for postsecondary success. Pamplin School of Business is excited to be on hand to participate. Congrats Sarah - New Pamplin Fellow
Sarah Shaw Dixon is a nonprofit professional with experience ranging from program development, management and evaluation to fundraising, and is currently working to achieve an MBA in Nonprofit Management.
Sarah has joined the Pamplin School of Business as a fellow this fall and will be working to launch the Mentorship program that will help current graduate students connect with alumni who were once in their shoes to receive the support and guidance that can only be offered beyond the classroom. Stay tuned for more information and opportunities to sign up to be a part of the program!

Jordan Turel to appear on Mac's List Panel
Jordan Turel, Executive Director of Door to Grace and current MBA Nonprofit student at Pamplin School of Business, will serve on the "Piloting your Nonprofit Career" panel on September 16The event is part of a recurring seminar series in partnership with Mac's List,  dedicated to careers in Oregon’s social good sector.
Jordan spent the last 11 years working in nonprofit management roles serving the Boy Scouts of America and local social service organization, Northwest Family Services (NWFS).
"Participation in the University’s MBA in Nonprofit Management has been a great experience! As a liberal arts undergraduate major, I wanted to expand my overall business acumen and technical skills.
