- Kirby Player (left), lecturer and coordinator of Clemson's Palmetto Leadership Program for the Environment, Agriculture and Forestry, received South Carolina's Order of the Palmetto, the highest civilian honor awarded by the State of South Carolina.

|
|
WATCH: Introducing the 2025 Clemson Tiger: Thomas Lowry, a second-generation mascot, lifelong fan and proud son continuing a family tradition. His dad once wore the same stripes, hyping up the same crowds and carrying the same Clemson spirit every game day.

- Several area schools will hold graduation ceremonies in Littlejohn Coliseum next week — plan accordingly for traffic impacts:

Tri-County Tech: May 12 (Doors at 4 p.m.; ceremony starts at 6 p.m.)
- Anderson County 1 and 2: May 15
- Schools will practice on May 14 and doors open one hour prior to all ceremonies.

- Powdersville - 12 p.m.
- Wren - 3 p.m.
- Belton-Honea Path - 6 p.m.
