In the recent University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension Agriculture Badger Dairy Insight webinar, University of Wisconsin-River Falls Department of Animal and Food Science Professor Sylvia Kehoe reviews the advantages and disadvantages of different disbudding methods and the ways we can make this an easy, safe, and effective process for both calves and employees.

Hay Market Report - February 14, 2022

Prices have remained fairly steady with some limited downward pressure. Dairy quality hay is in demand and is supporting the current prices and lower quality hay is discounted. In Wisconsin, prices were weaker this week in the market. The next Hay Market Demand and Price Report for the Upper Midwest will be posted by Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
