Workday will launch for all faculty and staff in less than six weeks. Here are a few things to be aware of and do in preparation for the new HR and Finance system.

Upcoming Cutover Dates

May 27 is the last day for a faculty or staff candidate to accept official offers for start dates prior to June 16. New hires cannot have start dates between June 16 and June 30. 

May 29 is the last day to:

• Enter or approve unpaid leaves of absence or planned time off (annual, sick, paid parental) scheduled for on or after July 1. Submissions for leave that will occur between now and June 30 may continue uninterrupted. 

• Request, create or modify suppliers, customers, sponsors and awards. 

• Add or change personal information.

• Create and approve guest/visitor expense reports. 

• Request new p-cards or CUF cards.

Self-paced Training

All faculty and staff were enrolled in a self-paced Workday Basics course through Tiger Training earlier this month. All faculty and staff must complete this short training before beginning role-based training, which will be available later this month. 

• Ready, Set, Roar!, Clemson's two-day Orientation experience, begins today on main campus with the College of Science. The full schedule is available online. 

• Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is providing a free virtual skills workshop series for faculty and staff. The skills taught are based on the principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a program offered to students throughout the academic year.

• The Office of Military and Veteran Engagement will host a Green Zone Training on Thursday, May 28, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in Vickery Hall. Learn how veteran and military-connected students are unique, the challenges they face and how to best assist them.
