OF+MO to Sponsor ArtNow 2023 Focus Awards Honoring Filmmaker Sterlin Harjo
OF+MO is proud to be a sponsor of the ArtNow 2023 Focus Awards presented by Oklahoma Contemporary. This year’s honoree is Indigenous artist and filmmaker Sterlin Harjo (“Reservation Dogs”) who will be recognized for his groundbreaking work through film that celebrates, uplifts and challenges notions of what it means to be Native. The ArtNow Awards Ceremony will be held this Thursday, January 11, at 6pm and will include a reception and Artist Talk with Harjo. Attendees will also be allowed to tour Oklahoma Contemporary’s latest exhibit, ArtNow: The Soul Is a Wanderer, which features an installation by Harjo among other artists, before its run ends on January 15. Tickets are still available to attend this event and audiences can also livestream Harjo’s Artist Talk panel via Oklahoma Contemporary’s YouTube.

Save the date for Oklahoma Film and Music Day at the Capitol on March 25, 2024. This FREE event will bring together state legislators alongside our local film and music members, businesses and related organizations for a day highlighting the impact of these industries in Oklahoma. Many thanks to our participating crew registrants who took time to review the new guidelines changes for registering in our Oklahoma Production Directory and update their profiles as required. We appreciate your efforts in helping us strengthen the value of our database by showcasing the depth of your hard work and talents.

If you are a registered crew member and have not had an opportunity to review our new policies, your listing may be inactive; therefore, you are not publicly appearing to incoming film and television production companies looking to hire and contract local workforce professionals.

Please make sure to review the current Oklahoma Production Directory Guidelines and login to your profile and confirm your current registration status.

A recent addition to our Oklahoma Locations Directory, this film friendly property recently hosted production on the upcoming season of the Mike Rowe television series “The Way I Heard It.”

On Location: New Map Highlights “Killers of the Flower Moon” Oklahoma Filming Sites
“Killers of the Flower Moon” continues to draw international attention from audiences around the globe who are interested in learning more about the history of the true events depicted in the film as well its production on location in Oklahoma. OF+MO has published a “Killers of the Flower Moon” Filming Map, which details locations that were used for the film as well as provides additional information on cultural resources within the Osage Nation. Many thanks to our tribal, city and business partners throughout the Osage Nation, including the communities of Pawhuska, Fairfax, Bartlesville and Tulsa for their support. We hope this map will serve as a valuable resource and respectful guide of information.
