We are aware that many of you have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new Anthem member ID cards. The cards are on the way and you should receive them in about 10 business days.
In the meantime, if you have a visit to the doctor or need a prescription filled before you receive your member ID card in the mail, please contact Anthem’s customer service for assistance starting today, June 1. Anthem’s customer service can also verify your eligibility, copays, benefits and provide you with your member ID number.
Their hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (PST).

In addition, starting on Monday, June 5, you can access the Sydney Health app by logging into anthem.com/ca and completing the registration process. Proceed to download the Sydney Health mobile app (supported by both iPhone and Android systems). The Sydney Health app will allow you to access the following:
- Pull up your digital member ID card
- Search for doctors, hospitals, labs and other health care providers in your plan.
- Find your deductible, copay, and share of costs.
- See what your plan covers
