Thinking about taxes? Make sure you have your 1098-T!

If you’re preparing your 2017 taxes, don’t leave money on the table. UW-Platteville generates a 1098-T form for each student they enroll and for whom a reportable transaction is made. By submitting a 1098-T form with your taxes, the IRS may recognize qualified tuition expenses, enrollment fees, and other charges regarding your degree program. You can learn more about the 1098-T form at irs.gov.
To access your 1098-T, follow the step-by-step instructions from the UW-Platteville Cashier’s Office. If you should have questions, you can contact the Cashier’s Office at 608.342.1211 or through email at cashieroff@uwplatt.edu
