Going back, imagining forward
As we prep for the launch of our school residency season in October, our roster of staff and 30+ Teaching Artists gathered - in-person and remotely - for our first hybrid Teaching Artist trainings! Topics included how to adapt our favorite activities for in-person social distancing, strategies for facilitating positive Sex Ed discussions in our Art of Relationships residencies, and practicing consent as a core value of our organizational teaching approach.
Like many educators, Upstream Arts will be returning to in-person teaching this fall while also offering hybrid and remote options to maximize accessibility for our disability community.
