Save the Date! Collegiate Summit Returns to the NATA Convention
All athletic trainers working in the collegiate setting are invited to an educational event hosted by the NATA Intercollegiate Council for Sports Medicine. The ICSM Summit is June 23-24, prior to the 70th NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo in Las Vegas. Collegiate ATs and other sports medicine practitioners will come together to address emerging and existing issues that affect the collegiate student athlete. The format will include educational programming, directed discussions and peer-to-peer learning opportunities. More details will be available soon.

Registration is open for Capitol Hill Day 2019. Make plans to join NATA April 2-3 in Washington, D.C., for its biggest advocacy event of the year. You will get the opportunity to speak directly with legislators and legislative staffers in support of the athletic training profession. Deadline for Collegiate Awards is Jan. 31
The Intercollegiate Council for Sports Medicine is accepting award nominations, and the deadline is almost here. The ICSM Awards recognize collegiate athletic trainers who have demonstrated exceptional performance in their setting. Submissions are due by Jan. 31. The categories include: Head Athletic Trainer of the Year (NCAA D1, NCAA D2, NCAA D3, NAIA, Junior College/Community College and Club/Intramural/Recreational Sports), Staff Athletic Trainer of the Year, Above and Beyond Award and New Horizon Award.
