Fond du Lac County Junior Park Ranger Program

Fond du Lac County Parks Department is starting a hands-on program in our county parks for children. This program will be our “Junior Park Ranger” program. It does not require children to do any “work”, but it is intended to get kids visiting and enjoying our county parks system.

This program is beginning now and will continue on through the end of summer. The program will wrap up on September 8, 2024. Each child must complete their own activity to earn their points. Earning points will get them prizes. Each activity completed is worth 10 points. There are three opportunities worth 5 additional bonus points each.

The prizes are as follows:
60 points = Junior Park Ranger keychain
120 points = Junior Park Ranger T-Shirt

To redeem prizes, the child would bring one of the attached sheets along with photo evidence of completion to the Parks/Planning Department, located at the City/County Government Center. The address is 160 S. Macy Street in Fond du Lac. The office is located on the 4th floor. All prizes must be redeemed by September 30, 2024.

We hope to get the children in our community involved and interested in our county parks system! Please help us in promoting this program!
