National Scholar Briggs Murray was named Clemson's first Boren Scholar since 2018. The program provides opportunities to add international and language components to education and focuses on geographic areas, languages and fields of study seen as critical to U.S. interests.

The annual Employee Appreciation Luncheon, hosted by the Office of Human Resources with support from Clemson Home, takes place today from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Dish at McAlister Dining Hall.

Alexis Stamatikos, a faculty scholar in the Food, Nutrition and Packaging Sciences Department, has been elected Fellow of the American Heart Association. The Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology conferred Stamatikos’s fellowship March 30.

As part of Facilities' summer construction projects, the E-9 parking lot (next to the Administrative Services Building) will be closed for a month and a half beginning May 15. Employees can park in nearby E-3 (Lee Hall), C-14 (behind ASB) lots, or the available portion of the C-2 lot.
