Mental Health Awareness
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. A recent study from the Barna Group indicated that non-believers look to the church for help with their emotional problems. Dr. Eddie Moody and the Executive Office have developed a resource aimed to equip churches and congregants to help the hurting in their community. SACS Approves Psychology Master'sWelch College recently learned that its accreditor, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS), has approved its proposed Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Psychology, according to Dr. Kevin Hester, Welch Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness.
