Before Hope Stubenhofer ’27 could understand its significance, her father’s story was shaping hers. As a baby, she heard his voice over the phone from halfway around the world. As a young girl, she listened to her mother’s careful recollections of a brave man she never met. And now, as a performing arts major, she tells his story through the language of movement — with each dance a tribute to the father who left behind a legacy of service, sacrifice and love.
