Screeching sounds. Threatening eyes. Haunting scenes. Students in Mrs. Thomas' 7th grade English classes created spooky stories, and freshmen in Intro to Digital Mixed Media classes made some of those scenes come to life. Proceed with caution.

I am almost to my house when I hear a noise. Clank! Something bangs inside of the creepy mansion. Ava and I call it Frankenstein's house because it reminds us of it.

“I don’t like this,” said Mat. “I think we should just go home.” “No, we need all the candy we can get. I promise we’ll be quick,” said Michael. The boys hesitantly walked up the cracked, neglected driveway.

| How to make a random potion |
Carefully coat a caldron in a clear cauldron conjuring coating. Then set up a fire cone, and prepare enough wood to keep the fire alive for 3 hours at least. I recommend 5 hours for beginners.

Our sixth grade class officers — Whitley Smith, Finley Teigen and Bayleigh Atcherson, led this month's Mustang Mission. For this month, the goal was to raise as many black socks and money for socks as possible.
As the season begins to change, warmth is beginning to be important again.
“Raising money for socks is important because the homeless need them so they can be warm in the Winter time," Whitley said. "Many people keep reusing the same pair of socks just because that's all that they have. Also, with dark colored socks, you can hide the dirt, and they won't look as dirty compared to having a light colored sock.”
With the help of our sixth grade class, our school managed to collect $850 and more than 150 dark colored socks.
