Welcome to Fall 2026 at Irvine Valley College! Here are four quick tips to help you get settled and start the semester strong.

Check your registration confirmation email or use the class schedule to find your class location. Your instructor may also post classroom details in Canvas.

IVC is transitioning to new campus signage, so you may see both old and new classroom numbers.

New numbers begin with N, S, E, or W, such as N1.101.

Check Canvas and your IVC email regularly for class announcements, syllabi, assignments, deadlines, and messages from your instructors and the college.

If MySite isn't loading on your phone while using IVC Wi-Fi, try turning off Wi-Fi and using your cellular connection.

Make sure you're ready for campus by getting your student ID card, purchasing a parking permit if needed, and checking what textbooks or course materials you'll need.

Your first weeks are also a great time to learn your way around campus, meet people, go to events, and discover opportunities beyond the classroom.
