TONIGHT — 500 Days Since October 7th
Today marks a grim milestone in the conflict with Hamas. 500 days ago, innocent men, women, and children were killed, tortured, and kidnapped. Join the greater Washington community tonight from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Washington Hebrew Congregation in DC (or via livestream), to honor the resilience of those still being held captive, uplift their families, and demand the immediate and safe return of all of those who remain in captivity. Expected guests include two former hostages and several family members of those still being held captive. This solemn moment in history calls us to unite in solidarity, compassion, prayer, and action.

Support is only one call away: 703-J-CARING (703-522-7464)
Federation continues to work closely with our partners to monitor the proposed changes to federally funded programs and projects and their impact on individuals and organizations in the community. These changes could have an especially hard impact on the greater Washington community. If you, or someone you know, is in need of assistance, the J-Caring community support initiative, a partnership between JSSA and Federation, can assist with everything from mental health care and career services to emergency cash assistance.
