Materials science and engineering major Nyx Mashkow, computer science major Ashton McEntarffer and mechanical engineering major Regan O’Neill (pictured left to right) have each received Goldwater Scholarships. In the past five years, only Stanford, Columbia University, University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth College and Harvard have received more Goldwater Scholarships than Clemson.
President Jim Clements and Frankie O. Felder, retired senior associate dean of the Graduate School and author of the forthcoming “Graduate Education at Clemson and the Evolution to a University,” were among the speakers at last week’s Graduate School Centennial Celebration. More than 100 current and former administrators, faculty, staff and students gathered at the Madren Center to celebrate the influence of graduate education on the growth and success of Clemson University.
