Significant changes aim to improve the work experience for faculty and staff in 2024, with the planned deployment of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to operate all the University’s financial and human resource activities at the center. Wise will serve as a member of Dean Steven Marks’ leadership team and the college’s executive committee. Wise will also oversee the DVM program to ensure all accreditation standards required by the American Veterinary Medical Association on Education are fully met.

Several projects, including Tillman Hall’s 600-seat classroom/auditorium in the heart of campus, have begun construction or are on schedule to be completed this Spring semester.

Clemson will soon ask all faculty, staff and student employees to acknowledge the University’s policies on equitable treatment and drugs and alcohol. Employees will receive a Tiger Training notification January 17 informing them of their enrollment in two policy acknowledgments, which must be completed by March 2.

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to a free virtual workshop focused on alleviating stress. Hosted by Clemson Libraries, the workshop will take place in room 401 in Cooper Library from noon to 1 p.m. and be led by Mitsuko Ito, a well-being activator for the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech and a licensed healing arts practitioner.

A collaborative effort between Public Safety, Student Health Services, Clemson Rural Health and the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services, these ONEbox kits are located in high-traffic areas near trauma kits and include Narcan® and a quick training video on how to respond to an overdose emergency.
