Dear colleagues,
Congratulations on completing another academic year! Through all of the challenges our campus community has faced, your steadfast dedication to student success and adaptability in teaching and learning has been unmatched. Here is what students have to say about your efforts:
"Thank you for being so helpful this semester and so understanding of all the circumstances I have had. I appreciate it a lot!"
"Thank you for being our smiling ray of sunshine every Tuesday morning!!"
"You know your material and you teach it really well giving us feedback that will help toward our career. Thank you so much."
Please join us at Wednesday's Biergarten at 4:30 pm the Faculty Center to celebrate with colleagues from around campus for reaching the end of another semester. The UTLC looks forward to connecting with you all over the summer and in the upcoming academic year. ACUE Teaching Certificate |
We would like to congratulate all of the instructors who completed at least one ACUE Effective Teaching Practices course this spring! Your efforts to implement strategies to support student success in the virtual and physical classroom are greatly appreciated and recognized by our campus community.
We are currently enrolling for Fall 2023 ACUE courses at no cost to UNCG instructors. Here's what current instructors have to say about their experience:
"As a new faculty member (and new to academia!), I have found the ACUE courses to be extremely informative and rewarding...I give ACUE an A-plus!"
"One way the ACUE program has been helpful to me is by allowing me to be more reflective on my teaching style and in most cases, reviewing the empirical teaching strategies so I can stay updated."
"I have liked these ACUE classes better than other teaching ones in the past. There is more specific usable information, and I appreciate that there are downloads including rubrics, tips sheets, etc."
