Don't miss the deadline to nominate remarkable A&M-San Antonio alumni for their achievements and community impact. The on-campus awards ceremony will take place during Homecoming week on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026.
The 2026 Alumni Awards have three categories.
|
- The Recent Graduate award is given to an alumnus/a who has earned an undergraduate degree in the last five years and is doing exciting things in the world.
- The Spirit of the Jaguar award is given to an alumnus/a providing excellent service and volunteerism to the University and/or community.

The Distinguished Alumni award is given to an alumnus/a with a stellar professional career.

Deadline to nominate is Dec. 31.

West Side of Cypress Corner Intersection Closed Dec. 8-31 |
Due to construction on the Public Health and Education Building, the intersection on the south side of the Central Academic Building leading to Lot 2C will be closed to thru traffic from December 8-31.
The crosswalks will remain open, and deliveries will still be able to access the loading dock.

Learn how to make your content accessible and inclusive. Sessions alternate weekly between beginner and intermediate. Bring your laptop!
Beginner Session: In-person instruction and hands-on practice focused on topics including document structure, images and alt text, hyperlinks, and writing. Registration is required.
Intermediate Sessions: Drop-in sessions for anyone who attended previous trainings and would like additional support and guidance. Sessions are available in-person or virtually.

Commencement Profile: Jahatzy Ramos Builds a Strong Foundation for a Future in Medicine
|
Jahatzy Ramos, biology graduate, is set to earn her bachelor’s degree on Dec. 16, moving her closer to her goal of becoming a physician assistant. Her academic achievements, leadership roles, and hands-on experience as a medical assistant solidified her passion for direct patient care. After graduation, she plans to take a gap year before applying to medical school to continue her journey in healthcare.

| New Scheduling Initiative Aims to Remove Barriers and Help Jaguars Stay on Track
|
A&M–San Antonio is launching a student-centered scheduling initiative to remove barriers to graduation and better support students balancing work, school, and family responsibilities. As one of 20 institutions selected for this national cohort, the University will use new analytics and planning tools to create clearer, more flexible course pathways that keep Jaguars on track.
