UBC Camps Face-Painting

UBC Camps offers a variety of summer camps that includes sports, adventure, arts, music, and enrichment activities. They provide both high performance and recreational programs for all ages and skill levels, from beginner to advanced, from toddlers to teens.

Campus Walk - Birding with the Director

Macro Photography Workshop
Saturday May 16, 2015 | 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. 
Learn to take better macro photos using a basic point-and-shoot digital camera in our hands-on photography workshop. Aimed at beginner or novice adult photographers, this workshop will cover basic tips for how to get clear, in-focus close-up photographs.

34 Wonders of the World

Explore 34 biodiversity hotspots around the world through stunning images. Presented by Terre Sauvage, Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund, and the Nature Picture Library. In partnerhsip with the French Consulate of Vancouver

Blitz the Fort
Friday May 22, 2015 - Saturday May 23, 2015

Comb 54 hectares, from rocky and sandy beaches near the lighthouse to Garry oak forests and flowering meadows near the fort with Parks Canada. Access lands not usually open to the public and rub shoulders with scientists from the Beaty Biodiversity Museum and Royal BC Museum. Register here

There will be another Parks Canada BioBlitz July 17 - 18, 2015 at the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve on Saturna Island. Register here
