YES, We're Doing It Again!

Simpson Glass Demonstration and Studio Sale

For two days this fall, Josh will don his fancy glassblower specs and gloves, and perform his hot glass dog'n'pony show!

Come enjoy our studio's beautiful views, chat with the old curmudgeon himself, and check out lots of special glass at special prices. We've been collecting these treasures for the past three years!

PLEASE NOTE: October 24-25 is earlier than usual for our studio sale. Josh just couldn't turn down an invitation to New Zealand on our customary date of the first weekend in November.

One of the Museum's new giant fish tanks!

If you're in Western Mass for the Oct 24-25 weekend, you might like to visit the Berkshire Museum in nearby Pittsfield and marvel at the amazing complete renovation, recently finished after almost two years of work! Josh says it's absolutely gorgeous. The new space even features a cool display of Simpson glass and a huge tank teeming with turtles!

Corona Swirl Vases

In the late 2010s, Josh made a series of Corona Swirl Vases with streaks of Corona glass twisted around the black glass of the vase's body. The effect looked like the piece had passed through a swirling nebula in outer space. Each vase has a generous lip that reveals the deep blue New Mexico interior. Of that original collection, only four remain. The two shown here are 10.5" tall and 4.5" tall.
