It is also enrollment season! Please remind youth and adults to get their re-enrollment in by November. Volunteers need to do training and it takes a couple of weeks for approval after training and background checks.
Officer training is scheduled on October 29. Youth and leaders can register in 4-H online, and remember to include your club.
After completing the Annual Financial Reports, we are encouraging all clubs to have an Adult mentor with your club treasurer. They should register to attend as well
Club Charters are due on November 1. For more information check out the website at https://4h.extension.wisc.edu/resources/volunteer-resources/administrative/charter/
Have questions about all that 4-H has to offer or need more information about enrollment? Contact our office with questions at 920-386-3790 or email marie.witzel@wisc.edu.

It's our understanding many Dodge County Dairy Youth represented their local FFA chapters in the Cream of the Crop Dairy Challenge in September. Congratulations to all! This is an FFA event that qualifies for a point on the dairy-activity card in the "educational event" section. The updated dairy-activity card will be ready, soon, then take it to your FFA teacher to have that individual initial the "FFA event" line.
The DYAC is willing to share breed-association junior opportunities in the "Dairy Dispatch," but you have to communicate that information with us. There is NO guarantee we already know it. E-mail details to dodgecountydyac@gmail.com well in advance of deadlines and events.
Questions? Contact DYAC via e-mail: dodgecountydyac@gmail.com.

We Want to Know How 4-H Has Helped You Thrive! |
This fall, Wisconsin 4-H will be encouraging members (ages 13-18) to complete a survey about their 4-H experience. The survey was developed by National 4-H Leaders (https://helping-youth-thrive.extension.org/) and will help Wisconsin 4-H to learn about the quality of our programs. The information will help to show how 4-H helps young people to learn new things, develop leadership skills, manage goals, set high personal standards, create positive academic attitudes, and other skills that lead to long-term success in life.
The survey will be sent to all Wisconsin 4-H members by e-mail in the first week of October. Youth who complete the survey will be entered into a raffle to win a $25 gift card!
For more information on the 4-H Thriving Model, visit 4-H Thriving Model – Wisconsin 4-H.
Please keep an eye out for messages and more information about this important survey.

Fall is in the air, and we are so excited to offer a unique field trip experience again! Seeing your smiling faces brings smiles to our faces as we hear the laughter and see the little feet and hands explore the fall outdoors at Ebert’s Greenhouse Village. We are pleased to offer field trips for $8 per student and $6 per chaperone. Classroom teachers are free. The fee includes a hayride, a small pumpkin for students, a craft project, a story, and full access to our play areas. Although many ages enjoy the program and activities, it is especially geared toward pre-kindergarten to 3rd
grade. To book your field trip please call (920)261-5645
