Hi All,
It is amazing how quickly the holiday season has come this year. First I would like to wish the happiest time of year for you and your families. I hope you all get to spend some wonderful time together and wish you the best as we turn the calendar to 2023! With the holidays upon us, this will be the last Friday Focus on 4-H of the year. In addition, the Dodge County offices will be closed on December 23, 26, 30 and January 2. Please make a note of those dates if you were thinking about visiting county office buildings over the holidays. For all of the youth in the 4-H program, the holiday week is a great time to start thinking about what you plan to do in the 4-H program for 2023! Do you have some projects that you can start working on with the cold weather coming? Enrollment is staying steady, and still coming in especially for new families. We would like to remind you that 4-H enrollment needs to be completed by December 31, 2022 to exhibit at the Dodge County Junior Fair. Finally, I would like to thank the 66 youth age 13 years and older who completed the WI Thrive Survey. The data is extremely helpful for us to focus on the WI 4-H program. With many Dodge County 4-H youth completing the survey, we were able to get local data that we can use to help shape the program. I want to give a huge thank you to all of you and share some prize-drawing winners from the youth who completed the survey. Congratulations to Nicole Roecker (Trenton Highlights) who won a gift card from the state drawing. Locally, we have prizes for Braden Cronce (Lebanon Luckies), Katelyn Eibes (Lomira Clover Leaves), Liam Hall (Neosho Utopians), Garrett Karow-Hodgson (Oak Grove Owls), Noah Roberts (Lakeside), and Autumn Schnitzler (Herman Hornets). Congratulations!
Have a great Holiday Season!
