Explore hundreds of ways to get involved at IUP during this annual activities fair Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Kovalchick Complex. Representatives from IUP clubs, organizations, and offices, as well as from local businesses, will be on hand to tell you all about what they do. Entertainment and giveaways are also part of this event.

Noon, University Museum. Art, science, history, and geography come together in the museum’s season-opening show, Maps: An Experience in Finding Our Way. The exhibit runs through November 19.

Noon, HUB/Honors Circle. The Sailing Club invites all members of the IUP community to give sailing a try. Experienced sailors will teach beginners. Participants meet on campus and carpool to Yellow Creek.

Celebrate the Constitution’s September 17, 1787, signing at two events: the traditional reading in front of Stapleton Library at 11:30 a.m. and a Six O’Clock Series program, “Is It Time for a New US Constitution?” at 6:00 p.m. in the HUB.

Campus Involvement and Employment: Consider applying for a job at the IUP Libraries. Students who work at the library get training that helps them do better in school. This work also helps build résumés, improving the chances of getting a good job after college. Apply through the Hire a Hawk website.
