President Biden’s COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate Applies in All Health Care Settings
President Biden recently announced a COVID-19 vaccine mandate which now applies to staff working in all health care settings that are Medicare- and Medicaid-certified. In addition to the existing requirement for long-term care staff to be fully vaccinated, this new mandate applies to health care staff working in hospitals, dialysis facilities, ambulatory surgical settings, home health agencies, among others.
