The do's and don't of pruning your Encore Azaleas:
👍Do prune immediately after spring flowering for maximum bud set
🚫 Avoid fall pruning - if you prune later in the year, you will be clipping off the buds that have set for the next bloom cycle
👍Light pruning of more established plants stimulates growth and flowering
🚫Be careful not to damage new bud clusters close to the old blooms you're removing
