Celebrating One Year of Serving You Better Together!

Read a Message for the Holidays from our CEO

We have much to celebrate as the year draws to a close!

Empty Bowls 2023

On Thursday, December 7, CCFCS hosted one of our most cherished traditions: the annual Empty Bowls fundraiser at the Kodak Center in Rochester. Some 400 people turned out to support us in our effort to fight hunger in our community. This year was the 20th edition of Empty Bowls, which featured beautiful handmade bowls, soups from local restaurants, live music, and an online auction. Thank you for helping make this such a wonderful event!

Hire Me Rochester

CCFCS is in the spotlight! We’ve launched a new hiring and recruitment campaign with Sinclair Broadcasting called “Hire Me Rochester.” CCFCS is featured in a special half-hour program on Channel 13 WHAM-TV and Channel 31 WUHF Fox Rochester, airing routinely now through February 16.
Not only can you find our story on 13wham.com; for the next two months it will also be featured on 13WHAM ABC'S Facebook page. When you see it, please share it! Special thanks to CCFCS employees Dan Chatterton, Kim Londoño, and Joe McGee for their participation in this project.

Marketing CORE Services

You may have noticed our ads for CORE services on Facebook and other digital media.  CCFCS is a NYS designated provider of CORE (Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment) Services, making it easier for individuals with serious mental illness and substance use challenges to receive clinical services in their own home or community.  With help from a grant from Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, CCFCS is marketing CORE to the wider community.  Our digital campaign, crafted by MillerMedia7, has already resulted in an increase in referrals.  CCFCS is now offering CORE services to about 140 clients in Monroe, Yates and surrounding counties, and we expect to grow enrollment in the coming months.  For more information on CORE, click here.
Thanksgiving Meal Distribution

Thanksgiving Meal Distribution

On November 20, the parking lot at the CCFCS location on Jay Street in Rochester was transformed into a drive-through for our annual Thanksgiving Distribution event. Thanks to a donation of 252 turkeys from Woodcliff Hotel and Spa and 150 boxes of non-perishables from the Small Business Council, we were able to provide a Thanksgiving meal for hundreds of families.

Share the Joy

This holiday season, CCFCS is fulfilling wish lists for more than 1800 clients and their loved ones!  Our Share the Joy gift-giving program would not be possible without our generous donors: individuals, families, civic groups, and local businesses. Thank you!
