Save next weekend to hear Rev. Sarah Renfro, Oct 22nd-24th:
October 12, 2016
This Sunday begins our four-week focus on stewardship as we look forward to "Making a Difference Together" in 2017. Each week, we will examine how we can make a difference together with each other, with our neighbors, with our world, and most importantly, with Christ
Please prayerfully consider how you are led to come together, worship together, pray together and give together with us for the sake of Christ who promises, "I will be with you, always".
Take our online gift assessment to help you recognize where your talents, interests and passions lie. How can you best serve Jesus through his church in our world?
Complete a paper or online pledge card and turn it in by November 6th, when we will end our campaign with a celebratory lunch, (TOGETHER!), on the grounds immediately following the late service.

Join us tonight for Dinner at 5:30 pm!
Menu:  Taco bar,  featuring all of your favorite Mexican ingredients, (including Louise's taco bowls!), dessert, tea and lemonade.
($7 for adults, $4 for children, with a $23 family maximum.)

Programs for children, youth and adults begin at 6:15 pm.
We had a great afternoon of intergenerational fun during our annual STOP HUNGER NOW packing event!  Our final total was 20,700 meals that we are thrilled to report are heading to Haiti.
We are grateful for all who came early to set up, those who stayed late to clean up, and everyone who worked hard in-between!  This is a great example of "Making a Difference Together".
Be sure to take a look at our photo album on Facebook.
The planning team for a youth mission trip has been working to research the possibility of an overseas mission trip to Costa Rica. An informational meeting for all youth, their parents, and anyone else in the church who might be interested in joining us will be held tonight, October 12th, at 6:15 pm in the Youth Room on the 2nd floor of the education building.
Rev. Sarah Renfro on body image as a reflection of the divine!
Mark your calendars for the weekend of October 22nd-24th to make sure you hear Rev. Sarah Renfro's message from the Bible and her own journey, confirming that our worth does not come from what is seen in the media, but that each of us are individually made for a great purpose!  Our bodies are gifts from God, and how we view them and take care of them are part of a well-examined life. Her full schedule of events will be posted next week.
