Come welcome new members to our community, celebrate the accomplishments of some of our most innovative and creative team members, and eat and drink your way back into the fall semester!
As we look for opportunities to better serve our community, last year the Office of the President transformed the way we introduced people to our campus and received positive feedback on this re-envisioned style.
As the new academic year begins, instead of multiple, separate events, all employees are again invited to one communitywide celebration. We will also recognize all new and newly promoted employees from all bargaining units and all Chancellor’s Award for Excellence and Classified Staff Presidential Recognition Award recipients.
Last summer, this idea was shared with faculty governance and bargaining unit leadership, and they expressed enthusiasm for this more inclusive approach that we're planning on annually.
