UO EVENTS
  • Play games and enjoy snacks with other students at Monday Game Night on Monday, Nov. 14, 6:00–7:00 p.m. near the EMU O Desk.
  • LGBTea Time invites all students to enjoy tea and meet friends in the community on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1:00–3:00 p.m. in the EMU, Room 022.
  • Ducks After Dark will show the movie "Ratatouille" on Thursday, Nov. 17, 7:15–10:00 p.m. in the EMU Redwood Auditorium.
  • Join LGBT Education and Support Services Nov. 13–19 for educational events during Trans Week of Celebration.
NOTEWORTHY
  • The University of Oregon will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day; classes will not be held.
  • The Office of the Registrar reminds students about upcoming deadlines happening on Sunday, Nov. 13, including the last day to change grade options, to change variable credits, or to withdraw from a course.
  • Graduate students can sign up now to participate in the 2023 Graduate Research Forum. Students at any point in their research are welcome! Submit your information by Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023.

International Education Week features 18 information sessions to highlight opportunities for students interested in studying abroad. Here’s a sample of topics being covered:

STUDENT SUPPORT
  • The Office of the Dean of Students is available to help students navigate personal crises, unanticipated family situations, and unexpected life events that can disrupt one’s ability to focus on academics.
  • The Collegiate Recovery Center offers support to students who are in recovery or who are struggling with alcohol or other drug issues.
