UO EVENTS
  • Swing by the Study Abroad Club to learn about study abroad, play games, and meet others who have been part of the program. Come by tonight from 5:00 to 6:00 in 199 Esslinger Hall.
  • Don’t miss the free screening of the classic Halloween movie Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight in 214 EMU. Doors open at 7:45 p.m.; get there early for pizza.
  • Stop by the Craft Center (030 EMU) on Friday, Oct. 25, for drop-in crafts from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and for the Lonely Craft Sale and Studio Demos, 10:00 a.m.–noon.
  • There’s no pep rally like a green and yellow pep rally! Show your UO pride along with the marching band, cheer team, and—of course—the Duck at the Homecoming Pep Rally on Friday, Oct. 25, 3:30–4:30 p.m. on the EMU Green.
  • Find more events over Homecoming weekend.
  • Bring a pumpkin to carve to the Outdoor Program Rental Barn (1225 East 18th Avenue) for a darn gourd time on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 6:30–8:30 p.m. Tools and candy provided.
  • Represent the UO with your cyber knowledge at the Big Ten Cybersecurity Gameshow on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 10:00 a.m. To compete, register at least twenty-four hours prior.
  • Have cozy conversation at Community Coffee with the Accessible Education Center on Friday, Nov. 1, 1:00–2:00 p.m. in 360 Oregon Hall. Coffee, tea, and cookies will be provided, as well as puzzles and crafts.

  • The UO ID Card is becoming the Flock Card next fall, and with the name change comes a new design selected from student submissions. Send in your design before Friday, Dec. 20.
  • Can you spot a phishing email, text, or call? Hone your skills in a fifteen-minute training and browse other tips to protect yourself.

  • The LGBTQ+ drop-in support group is a confidential space to explore issues related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and interpersonal experiences. Join on Wednesdays, 2:15–3:45 p.m. in 123 Living Learning Center North.
  • Activists and organizers should take time to care for themselves so they’re able to care for others. Join an evening of well-being in 140 EMU on Monday, Oct. 28, 6:00–7:20 p.m.
