In a story you'll first read here, Brown County Broadcasters' Contemporary Christian/WVNI (95.1fm, Nashville) adds another signal: WLZT (94.1fm, Worthington). Dave Keister's Mid-America Radio Group owns WLZT, after purchasing it in 2016 for $70,000. Since then, WLZT has mostly been silent, while Mid-America moved WLZT's tower site from Worthington to Mid-America's tower, about 15 miles southwest of Bloomington. Finally, here's the "Spirit 95" website, and "Spirit 95" also has a one-hundred watt FM translator: W299BD (107.7fm, Bloomington).
White River Broadcasting's Classic Hits/WWWY (106.1fm, North Vernon) welcomes a new morning show: Robert Freeman ("Freeman in the Morning"). Before arriving in Indiana, Mr. Freeman worked as APD/MD/Morning host at WDKN(AM) and FM in Dickson, Tennessee for eight years. At "106.1 The River," PD Rich Anthony ends his "temporary morning host" duties and returns to hosting afternoons.

Locally-owned and operated Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. is accepting applications for the next Director of Sales (DOS) of adult alternative WTTS/Indianapolis and news-talk WGCL/Bloomington. The Indianapolis-based DOS will be responsible for the development, maintenance and growth of all revenue streams: national, agency, local/direct, digital and non-spot/NTR. The DOS will be charged with identifying, hiring and nurturing new account executives while serving as a motivating coach to senior AEs, driving their performance to peak potential. The ideal DOS must possess a proven track record in the ability to identify and develop non-spot revenue opportunities, including event and digital. WTTS is a heritage adult alternative station serving the Indianapolis metro and south-central Indiana for more than 25 years, while WGCL broadcasts a news/talk/sports format to Bloomington and Monroe County. General Responsibilities
* Must have superior knowledge of current events and ability to create radio topics based on local happenings, news & information.
* Must be an excellent communicator, very creative and very funny.
Great phone skills, great on-air voice, excellent organization and positive track record are a must.
* Write assigned Facebook posts along with other social media outlets
Produce commercials on a daily basis.
* Conducts Live Remotes and appearances and assist in special promotions and programming activities.
* Secondary delegations could include some of the following: promotions, managing the digital platform, station imaging and/or video editing.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* At least 2 years on-air experience.
* Computer literacy in applicable programs
* Public speaking skill and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting
* Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing
* Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels and to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlines
* Skill in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment

WIMC + WCDQ + WCVL (Crawfordsville) are looking to hire an APD. Responsibilities will include:
• Writing, editing and producing commercials, promos, and on-air announcements.
• Computer work on radio stations
• Some on-air work
