Based on the community’s request for expanded services and increased library use, it is currently estimated library funding will fall short by at least $3.2 million every year. On Feb. 4, BPL leadership and representatives from the Colorado State Library and Poudre River Public Library District in Ft. Collins discussed our funding shortfalls and options.

"First in the 'Bookmobile' series, this charming mystery kept the pages turning. The personalities of the cat, Rhett Butler, and dog, Mr. Chaucer, had me laughing out loud, and the amusing antics of the septuagenarian librarian, Cleo, delighted me from page 1 to page 320." -Jan, Patron Services

I congratulate you on having the courage and artistic sensibility to program such a work... There is just not much innovative or adventuresome programming going on anywhere these days... You did something important. ” -Jim, a recent concert attendee
