- The final rental fair for 2025-26 off-campus housing will take place April 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Storke Plaza. View active vacancies in the community. For additional support in securing off-campus housing next academic year, contact University and Community Housing office in person upstairs in the UCen, by phone at 805-893-4371 or by email at housinginfo@housing.ucsb.edu.
- Spring quarter is a common time for students to still land summer internships and full-time jobs, and apply for on-campus jobs for next academic year. Career Services hosts their Spring Job and Internship Fair on Wednesday, April 23 at the Events Center where students can engage with employers in person. Their Handshake job board currently has over 50 on-campus jobs posted with many departments hiring for summer and to start next academic year. Encourage your student to apply!
- Looking to potentially offset the cost of UCSB through federal tax credits? We know Tax Day is almost upon us and you may be searching for the 1098T tax form. Your student can access the form by following the instructions listed on the Business & Financial Services website. They will receive the form online and can share it with you.

Resource of the Month: Academic Support
| |
As your student prepares to return for spring quarter, they may have the need to seek out additional academic support on campus. Below are a few of the many options available to students:
Campus Learning Assistance Services (CLAS): CLAS offers group tutorials connected to specific lower division math, science, economics, and statistics courses; drop-in tutoring for languages, writing, science, math, economics, and statistics; one-time study skills workshops; and academic skills consultations.
College Advising Offices (Letters and Science, Engineering, or Creative Studies): Each College offers academic advisors available for questions regarding course scheduling and academic planning.
ONDAS Student Center: The ONDAS Student Center promotes the success and retention of first-generation college students with an emphasis on the first year transition and underrepresented student experience. They provide mentoring and academic support in a learning-centered space for students to connect with faculty, staff, and peers in order to grow personally and excel academically.
The Transfer Student Center (TSC): The TSC's mission is to support the success and growth of transfer students who have a diverse and specific set of needs. Located centrally in the UCSB Library, the center is home to full-time academic advisors from the College of Letters & Science, peer mentors, and departmental partners who are able to help transfer students transition successfully to UCSB by providing specialized programming and opportunities that add value to their undergraduate education.
